SAN FRANCISCO (October 13) – Technology and intellectual property litigator Olivia Nguyen has joined Alto Litigation as Of Counsel, the firm announced today, adding a battle-tested trial lawyer with deep technical fluency to the San Francisco litigation boutique.
Nguyen fights for technology companies and startups in high-stakes business and intellectual property disputes in federal and state courts and before federal agencies. She takes on disputes arising from technology partnerships, platform agreements, and vendor contracts, including claims for breach of contract, unfair competition, business torts, and violations of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. She also litigates trade secret, copyright, and patent matters on both sides of the v., for plaintiffs and defendants alike. Her cases span the cutting edge of technology: artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data analytics, supply chain and logistics, medical devices, and consumer technology, including video games and gaming hardware.
"Olivia is an exceptional litigator who thrives in the courtroom, and we're thrilled to have her on the team," said Bahram Seyedin-Noor, CEO and founder of Alto Litigation. "Olivia is not just superb at the pre-trial work of discovery, research, and strategy; she understands the keys to a successful trial. She masters the technology behind every case and then makes it compelling for judges and juries. That is how complex tech disputes are won, and it is exactly what our clients expect from Alto."
Nguyen joins Alto from Fish & Richardson P.C., where she was a Principal. Best Lawyers in America named her one of its "Ones to Watch" in 2026. She holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. She is admitted to practice in California and Massachusetts and speaks Vietnamese, French, and Italian.
